We would like to wish all our clients, family and friends a safe and Happy Easter.
We will be closed Good Friday to Easter Monday as well as Anzac Day but business as usual around those times.
It has been so busy recently with summer weddings and a big challenge is creating arrangements that can last in our heat. We have a lot of expertise and experience in that area so you can be confident that their beauty and freshness will last all day.
This is an often overlooked area when some weddings can be over 12 hours from flower delivery until the last guests leave. This is all the more challenging with outdoor weddings when flowers get exposed to the elements, direct sunlight and wind. Make sure you discuss this with your florist – in fact if they do not go into detail with you regarding this, I would politely walk away and find another floral provider. See our Perth Wedding Flowers website for more details.
We are also delighted to announce that through 2013 we are continuing to be the floral provider to the WACA, PCEC as well as many large hotels, function venues and corporations. We never forget quality and service though so no matter how large or small your requirements we can meet your needs.
For a creative evening out with a difference why not get a group of your friends together and join our friendly and creative Perth florists for flower arranging classes over a glass of champagne and nibbles to create your very own floral arrangement and learn some of the art of flower arranging in a fun and relaxed atmosphere?
Flower arranging class sessions start now so contact us to book anything from a single evening in East Perth to a more comprehensive program (If you are thinking to take on a short course in floristry or even full time as a career please go to challenger.wa.edu.au to have a look at the programs). We do need a minimum of 4 attendees to create a session but contact us if you do not have that number and we can place you with another group.
Held at our East Perth Flower studio running on the 1st Wednesday of each month from 6.30 – 9.00pm Wednesday or as required for group bookings. Bookings essential.
The $75 cost includes a welcoming glass of champagne and nibbles as well as all materials. You will be able to take home your beautiful creation at the end of the evening. We have Gift Vouchers available too as this would make an interesting and unique gift.
It’s a shock to see Christmas decorations in shops although only 9 weeks to go now – our Hampers are in great demand as we design with the clients own flair in mind. You can order from the ONLINE STORE or contact us for something particular. We can create any combination you require or leave it up to our expert team to design something that will be sure to impress.
We have now jumped into SPRING!! (but the weather doesn’t seem too sure), and with spring comes the exciting wedding season!! October in Australia is the month with the most weddings – for good reason.
Lovely to see the current fashion of beautiful, natural flowers gathered in a full gorgeous posy. The flowers look so happy when not forced into wired shapes, and it gives a relaxed elegance to the feel of the wedding – colour also the big trend, and wrist corsages instead of dress for the mums.
Winter is almost gone, so we are coming to the end of the season for
our delicate winter flowers such as delphiniums, hyacinth, jonquils
But with goodbye winter is SPRING!! Fashion trends for spring this
year is colour, colour, colour – tropical, african, geometric, so our
floral artists will have great fun to liven up our spirits, which is
just what we need after winter.
We are delighted to become one of the few stockists for the exclusive Dahlia Designs Range. This perfectly complements the handmade creativity of our existing supplier Tamara Harrison Designs.
Dahlia Designs are based in Broome and boasts a large range of handmade jewellery including earrings, pendants, bangles and brooches. They have a selection available in our ONLINE STORE but a far larger range in our East Perth shop.
Below are some images of items we have in our online store from both Dahlia Designs and Tamara Harrison Designs
Dahlia Designs use Sterling Silver, Freshwater Pearls, Saltwater pearls and West Australian shell in their work, with a number of designs based on the Broome phenomenon …The Staircase to the Moon and the beautiful Kimberly Boab Tree.
